The doctor was born and raised in Larnaca. After graduating from the Gymnasium St. George and his military service, he studied at the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Named specialist in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, at the written and oral examinations. He worked, for short periods, in endocrinological departments of the University College Hospital in London and the University Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan in the US It works in Larnaca, in Syneseio Medical Centre in Nicosia, the Apollonian Private Hospital.
He has published papers in Greek and international medical journals, while others have been announced in national and international conferences.
He was president of the Endocrine Society of Cyprus and member of the Board the Medical Association of Larnaca and the Diabetes Association. Now he is deputy chairman of the Cyprus Association against Osteoporosis and Musculoskeletal Diseases, a member of the Greek Endocrine Society and a regular member of the European Society of Endocrinology (ESE) and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE). In 2004, set by the World Organisation Osteoporosis as the representative of Cyprus to the European Union Osteoporosis Consultation Panel, counseling, ie the European Commission Committee for osteoporosis issues.
